My boyfriend and I, shortly after they’d been finished! He got the tiny triforce on the inside of his arm, and I got the horseshoe on the inside of my ankle. Both were our first tattoos!
We had been walking around a small, beach tourist town of Holland, Michigan on our day off and spotted Pincushions, so I suggested we go get something done. The artist, Matt was awesome and had a lot of great suggestions for us.
My horseshoe turned out a lot more cartoon-y than I had originally planned but I LOVE it. Ultimately it’s a little tribute to my horse, Razz as well as bringing me good luck. Matt added the aqua “bubbles” per my request, as it was our show colors back in the day.
Lots of pain but totally worth it!
